The owner was getting bogged down by operations, specifically any type of reporting and inventory management, preventing him to focus on the most important task at hand: getting ready to sell the restaurant.
Our Solution
We creating a realtime inventory management system & automated all reporting
After completing or introduction audit, we realized the biggest source of leverage would be to implement a custom real time inventory management system that notified the team and vendors when ingredients were low and would automatically bill and order from the vendor. This replaced a tedious 14 hour a week process to be fully automated. We also completely automated reporting from square POS and all third party ordering systems like Uber eats, grubhub, doordash etc.
Tools Used:
Python + Pipedream: we coded python scripts to connect to different APIs.
Make.com: to automatically reorder (send an email) based off automations set up in Airtable
Airtable: to create the backbone of the inventory management system
