About the Founder
Marco Garcia
I started my career at Meta right out university studying computer science. I worked in Operations for three years in Integrity (keeping bad stuff off of the platform) with world class engineers, product managers, UX researchers, etc managing a $10M / year program that trained advanced internal machine learning and AI algorithms. Since I was at school, I’d also do consulting for small businesses making anywhere from $20-500k per month, helping create the operational backbone of these business with sound tech and strong operations. After leaving Meta, I spent some time with a friend at his digital marketing agency and realized how many small businesses are still not leveraging tech to supercharge their operations. I knew that I wanted to focus on helping founders see their vision and reach their goals, which is why I started full time on Horizon Ops.
